Kurt Johnson is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of One Body LDN – one of London’s most trusted and fast-growing physiotherapy and performance clinics. As the clinic’s lead osteopath and director, Kurt blends elite-level clinical skill, strength and conditioning expertise, and a rare depth of real-world experience to deliver life-changing results for clients from all walks of life.
Kurt qualified as an Osteopath from the renowned British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy) in 2020. His training focused on manual therapy, structural and functional osteopathic techniques, and the treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions. But Kurt’s clinical insight extends far beyond textbooks. His unique ability to diagnose and treat root causes – not just symptoms – stems from a lifetime immersed in performance, discipline, and service.
Before entering the clinical world full-time, Kurt spent 14 years serving in the London Fire Brigade, where he was repeatedly recognised for excellence, including receiving the Adam Meere Award for Best Recruit and deployment to the elite Pandemic Multi-Agency Response Team (PMART) during COVID-19. His background in high-stakes frontline service shaped his grit, empathy, and unwavering standards of care.
Kurt’s passion for performance and recovery also comes from decades as both a competitor and a coach. He is a former UK national martial arts champion (Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing), a WKO-ranked Top 10 K1 professional fighter, and a multi-sport athlete with experience in strongman, MMA, marathon running, and boxing. As a coach and personal trainer, he has trained and cornered athletes for championship events in combat sports and strength competitions.
In the clinic, Kurt specialises in structural rehabilitation, joint pain, chronic injury recovery, and performance optimisation. He integrates manual therapy, exercise prescription, and movement correction with a no-nonsense approach to drive fast and lasting results. Whether it’s a CEO with back pain, a post-op patient, or an elite athlete preparing for competition, Kurt brings the same level of focus and care to every session.
Prior to co-founding One Body LDN with Rebecca, Kurt launched Osteo LDN, an award-winning 5-star clinic, which quickly gained a reputation for combining hands-on expertise with education-led client care. Today, his mission at One Body LDN is to transform how physiotherapy and osteopathy are delivered – shifting the private healthcare space from reactive treatment to proactive, client-focused performance care.
From firefighting to physio, combat sport to clinical excellence – Kurt’s journey has always been driven by discipline, results, and service. At One Body LDN, he continues to lead with integrity, expertise, and the ambition to redefine industry standards.
