Meet the amazing Kanvi. Having completed her undergraduate degree in 2020 as valedictorian, Kanvi worked full-time as an MSK clinician and part-time as a marathon physiotherapist.
She has provided mid-run and post-run treatment to over 150 long-distance runners and has helped them achieve pain-free PBs by correcting their running biomechanics. Inspired by them, she has completed over ten half marathons and one full marathon.
Following her aspiration, Kanvi has recently completed her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine (Football) from the University of Birmingham with merit. During this time, she gained her Diploma in football medicine from FIFA and worked as a football physiotherapist for Bartley Reds FC.
Kanvi then worked at a sport-specific clinic to develop in-depth knowledge of ACL rehabilitation from the pre-operative phase to the return to Sport phase using a combination of sports massage, exercise prescription and feedback therapy.
In addition, Kanvi has been practising Yoga since the age of 4 and is a certified Yoga Teacher from The Yoga Institute, India, which is the world’s oldest Yoga association. She passionately introduces free-flow mobility (Vinyasa Yoga) and breathing patterns into her treatment plans. If asked nicely, she will teach you how to ‘safely’ perform a headstand 🙂
Kanvi is friendly and approachable and is known to be a good listener. She cares about your problems and will go above and beyond to fix them.
When not at One Body LDN, you’ll either find her running in a park or obsessively working on the sequel to her book- ‘The Bystander’, a female-centric psychological thriller available worldwide on Amazon.
