Georgie joins our physiotherapy team, having graduated from Kings College London with a master’s in physiotherapy. Coupled with her first-class degree in Sport Rehabilitation, Georgie holds the most up-to-date knowledge of the profession, which she has used to achieve the best outcomes for her patients whilst working in the NHS, sports teams, the military, and private practice.
Alongside university, Georgie worked at Portsmouth Football Club and Ben Ainslie’s UK sailing team, INEOS Britannia. Helping to diagnose, treat, massage, and provide emergency first-aid cover on matchdays, Georgie enjoyed the challenge of working in an elite environment and assisting her athletes to reach optimal performance. The attention to detail that is required for elite sports is what Georgie provides to all of her patients.
Since graduating, Georgie has lived in Switzerland and volunteered with the charity, Supporting Wounded Veterans. Using ski-habilitation to re-engage physically and psychologically injured veterans, Georgie provided patients with individualised and holistic care, considering both their physical and mental health needs.
Inspired by her grandmother’s motto, ‘listen to your body’, Georgie believes in the importance of regularly checking in with yourself and maintaining an active lifestyle to maximise health and wellbeing. She is keen to promote this message and help others live their life to the fullest without being limited by injuries.
In her spare time, Georgie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Ravioli. She loves leading a busy and active lifestyle, which she achieves through her favourite sports of skiing, tennis, and paddle boarding. Georgie’s passion is travelling and experiencing new cultures. When not in London, you’ll find Georgie happiest either on a beach or up a mountain!
