I recently started working with Magenta and I couldn't be happier with my progress so far. Magenta is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and caring. She took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and tailored her treatment plan to my specific needs (lower back pain). Her positive attitude and encouragement made the sessions enjoyable, even when the exercises were challenging. Thanks to Magenta, I have seen a significant improvement in my mobility and overall well-being. I highly recommend Magenta to anyone in need of physiotherapy services.

I have been very impressed with the therapy I’ve received by Magenta. She has helped with many of my pregnancy issues including lower back, neck and hip pain. She has a wealth of knowledge and is constantly up-skilling herself to ensure she has the most up to date practises. For me, she has used a combination of massage and giving me exercises to do at home. Not only that, but she has a wonderful disposition and is always happy to chat and see how I’m getting on. She has been there throughout my second and third trimester and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Highly recommend Magenta/Danielle! Incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and all-around lovely people. They gave me very helpful advice/support for strength and flexibility training, including deep tissue massages and acupuncture during the sessions. Without them, I would not have been able to recover from my IT band injury before my ultramarathon this summer.

I had a very positive experience working with Magenta on my rehabilitation following a tri-malleolar ankle fracture and surgery. It was a long and tricky recovery journey, but Magenta's professionalism, advice and positive attitude were extremely helpful in dealing with the whole thing. Thank you, Magenta and One Body LDN 🙂

I was on a week's business trip to London and had severe recurrence of slip disc induced sciatic pain in my left leg. In order to prep for the long return trip back to India the next day, I went for 1 session to One body LDN. Mridul, the physio, did a great job in understanding my problem, the pain areas and providing a deep tissue massage that helped me manage my pain during the return flight. Thanks Mridul and One body LDN!

Appendix: Key Terms and Concepts for Golfers Elbow

Forearm: Golfer’s elbow is a common condition that causes pain on the inside of the elbow and can radiate down into the forearm. It is caused due to overuse of the forearm muscles, such as gripping, lifting, and repetitive forward bending of the wrist. The most common symptom of golfer’s elbow is pain along the palm side of the forearm, from the elbow to the wrist, on the same side as the little finger. Treatment may include rest, ice therapy, physical therapy exercises to strengthen forearm muscles or anti-inflammatory medications.

Symptoms of golfers: Golfer’s elbow is a condition that affects individuals who engage in repetitive wrist and forearm movements, such as golfers, tennis players, and bowlers. Symptoms of golfer’s elbow typically include pain and weakness in the affected arm, which can range from mild discomfort to severe pain that disrupts sleep. Other risk factors for golfer’s elbow include smoking, obesity, and engaging in vigorous physical activity for extended periods of time. If you experience these symptoms or suspect that you may have golfer’s elbow, it is important to seek medical attention promptly to prevent further injury and manage your symptoms effectively.

Injection: Golfer’s elbow is a common condition that affects golfers and other athletes who use repetitive gripping motions. In more severe cases, injection therapy may be required to provide relief. Corticosteroid injections are one form of injection therapy that can help alleviate pain and inflammation in the affected area. However, research has shown that while these injections may provide short-term relief, they can result in poorer outcomes in the long term. Therefore, it is important to discuss all available treatment options with a healthcare professional before making a decision on which course of action to take.

Healing: Golfer’s elbow is a common condition that can cause pain and discomfort in the inner part of the elbow. The healing process for this condition can be improved by various methods like weight management, exercising, and using pain relief medications. Overweight people have increased levels of inflammation in their bodies, which may lead to poorer tissue healing and prolonged pain. Losing weight can help improve the healing process. Painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen, or anti-inflammatory gels can be used to control pain and allow individuals to continue exercising while promoting healing.

Tenderness: Golfer’s elbow is a common condition that results in tenderness and pain on the inside of the elbow. This pain can be felt when gripping, lifting, or bending the wrist forward. The affected area may also experience stiffness, mild swelling, and heat.

Overuse injury: Golfer’s elbow is an overuse injury that is caused by repetitive strain from tasks and activities that involve gripping, rotating your arm, and flexing your wrist. This condition is linked with activities that involve repeated gripping, lifting and twisting with the hand and wrist. Repeated movements of flexing the wrist, gripping or swinging can cause strains or small tears in the tendons at the elbow. While painful, golfer’s elbow shouldn’t cause any lasting damage and more than 80% of people with this condition recover with straightforward treatment.

Inner elbow: Golfer’s elbow, also known as medial epicondylitis, is a type of repetitive strain injury that affects the inner elbow. Symptoms include pain and tenderness in the inner elbow, particularly when gripping or lifting objects. In some cases, there may be stiffness or swelling in the joint. Treatment options may include rest, ice therapy, physical therapy, and the use of a brace to support the affected arm. It is important to seek medical attention if symptoms persist or worsen over time.

X-ray: Golfer’s elbow is a condition that results from overuse of the forearm muscles and tendons. An x-ray may be requested to rule out other conditions like bony abnormalities, osteoarthritis or fractures, but it has little diagnostic benefit if golfer’s elbow is suspected. Ultrasound scan is considered the easiest and most sensitive way to identify any tendon degeneration, tears or inflammation. It is important for individuals experiencing elbow pain to consult with a doctor who can recommend appropriate treatment options based on their specific symptoms and medical history.

Inside of your elbow: Golfer’s elbow is a condition that causes pain and tenderness on the inside of your elbow. The pain may radiate down to the forearm and wrist, making it difficult to lift or bend your arm, or perform twisting movements. This condition is caused by small tears and inflammation within the tendon that attaches some of the muscles helping to move your wrist and forearm. Golf, tennis, bowling, baseball, and other activities that involve repetitive movements can cause golfer’s elbow. If you experience any of these symptoms, it is recommended to seek medical attention for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Golfers elbow, also known as medial epicondylitis, is a condition characterized by pain and inflammation on the inner side of the elbow. It is caused by repetitive or excessive gripping and wrist flexion, leading to strain and micro-tears in the tendons that attach to the inner part of the elbow.
