Clinical Governance & Regulatory Standards — One Body LDN
Last Updated: February 2026
At One Body LDN, we are committed to providing safe, ethical, expert-led care. We follow strong clinical governance standards and work in line with UK professional regulation and best practice in musculoskeletal healthcare.
Professional Regulation
Our clinicians are qualified, insured, and registered with the relevant professional bodies, including:
- HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) — for regulated physiotherapists
- CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) – the UK’s leading physio membership body
- AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) – for physiotherapists providing needling/acupuncture
- GOsC (General Osteopathic Council) – for osteopaths
- GCC (General Chiropractic Council) – for chiropractors (where applicable)
These organisations set standards for professional conduct, ethics, safeguarding, and continuing professional development (CPD). You can verify a clinician’s registration at any time via the relevant public register.
What this means for you
Professional regulation helps ensure that your clinician:
- Is properly qualified and insured
- Follows nationally recognised standards for safety and effectiveness
- Obtains informed consent and respects confidentiality
- Undertakes ongoing training and CPD
- Provides evidence-based care, tailored to your goals
Clinical Governance and Safety
Accessibility is an ongoing priority. We regularly review our website, clinic environment, and team processes, and we welcome feedback to help us improve.
Legal Responsibility
While private MSK clinics are not always required to be CQC registered, we operate with a strong governance approach, including:
- Secure record-keeping and data protection (UK GDPR compliant)
- Risk management procedures and incident response
- Internal audits, supervision, and staff training
- Safeguarding protocols
- Clear escalation routes for clinical concerns and complaints
Our aim is consistent: safe care, accountable clinicians, and continuous improvement.
