HEALING DOESN’T END AT THE FIRST SESSION, IT CONTINUES THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PLAN AND PROCESS. TO CONTINUE HEALING AND GETTING BENEFITS FROM YOUR SESSION, FOLLOW THESE RECOMMENDATIONS BELOW:

Drink plenty of water; an adequate water intake can lessen recovery time and restore the muscles and joints to their natural function!

Move your body. Along with drinking water, getting movement will aid in repairing the body and keeping it mobile.

If given – do the advised exercises! We know it’s simple to push any follow-up exercises to the side and drop them off your to-do list for the day. However, it’s key to remember that we recommend them for a reason. The suggested exercises are specific to your pain or ailment. They will play a massive role in the long-term healing process.

Use heat if recommended by your therapist. Depending on your condition or cause of pain, the consistent use of heat helps to loosen tense muscles and keep any luring tension at bay.

Embrace a lazy day (or two!) if your body calls out for rest.

Any follow-up appointments will serve to accelerate your progress and accelerate your recovery. If we have recommended a follow-up session, you can rest assured that our therapists have your best interests at heart. Honesty and integrity is a big deal with our therapists.
