How Many Physiotherapy Sessions Do I Need To Have?
TRANSCRIPT:
How many sessions will you need? Well, that completely depends on, one, the situation. Two, the injury, and three, your adherence to our advice. Okay? So you may come in, you may touch some tightness in your shoulders, tightness in your neck that you want to get ironed out, and we can more than accommodate that.
Okay? And it might be appropriate to then recommend that you come in for more preventative treatments. Okay? This one done a once a month basis or once a week, squeeze whatever. It is, uh, accommodating for you. Okay? The other thing of the types of injuries, so with an acute injury, you know, you might need something like three to six sessions, okay?
And with longer term injuries, you may need a lot more, 10 to even 20 plus. Okay? You had it for a long time. This back painer requires a lot of work equal. If you post-surgery, then depending on the type of surgery, you may need a lot of sessions. The key thing here is this, is there are no, uh, booking quotas.
There are no. Systems or set systems, everything is very, very much bespoke to you. Everything from the treatment recommendations to the treatment themselves will be bespoke to you. Okay? Our therapists are non-commission based. Things are not done with a financial incentive in mind, but done with a what is best for the client, a consultative approach in mind.
Okay? So I hope that answers your question as a general. And the other thing as I wanted to touch on was the last point I made was a lot of it as well does depend on your adherence. Okay. Your adherence to the recommendations given to you in regards to the treatments, in regards to the exercises, in regards to your lifestyle changes.
The more, the more adherence you have to that, the quicker, the smoother, the more effective your recovery will be. Alright, any questions, just ask. Thank you very much.
