HAMISH
Hamish graduated with a degree in physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes, achieving first-class honours in all his professional placements, including working with Oxford United Football Club.
Before physiotherapy, Hamish worked as a personal trainer for seven years, working with a wide range of clients, from retired professional footballers to busy working professionals.
During this time, he was fast-tracked for Master Trainer status due to his attention to detail and ability to cater to differing lifestyles. This experience has enabled Hamish to understand the importance of continuing exercise even whilst overcoming an injury. The goal is to adapt the programme to your specific needs at that time.
Hamish has competed in multiple different sports, including rugby, swimming, water polo and rowing. He is also a trained Water-Ski instructor!
This multi-sport background means he can understand the rigours of whatever activity you engage in and tailor your rehab plan specifically to those demands. This background has also come at a cost, with Hamish having undergone rehab on quite a few injuries himself, particularly his back and shoulders, although this means he can fully sympathise with the highs and lows of the rehab process!
In his spare time, Hamish loves to watch rugby, supporting London Irish and is always keen to chat about the weekend’s game or anything that takes your fancy!
