1000'S OF 5-STAR REVIEWS
Much love to you and Rebecca! See you both soon.
We have been training together for years and I had more confidence in him. I knew he'd understand these types of injuries.
He knew exactly what it was and how to treat it without causing me any discomfort
I walked away with a better understanding of my body, my posture and what I personally need to focus on.
Would highly recommend - thank you!
He immediately treated my stiff upper back and hip issues on the first session - wasting no time at all! Within just a couple of sessions, I felt instant improvements in my weight training and running. I haven't looked back since!
Kurt has a deep understanding of anatomy and was able to quickly locate the source of my problem and explain how the referred pain originated.
His professionalism is second to none. He has a gentle hand and a calming manner - all which are essential when treatment has a tendency to be uncomfortable! His aftercare included advice and exercises to prevent similar pain in future and courtesy follow up message which I really valued.
I can't thank him enough and have referred all my friends!
Being a professional MMA fighter for over 9 years, I've had some serious injuries. Over the last 12 months, I sustained one of my worst. I almost completely ruptured my adductor and the bottom of my abs.
These guys were both crucial to my recovery and within weeks of treatment, I saw massive results. A few months later, and I'm back to complete health and fighting shape!
Champion Professional MMA fighter
She provides a really good blend of massage and acupuncture in the sessions with advice and exercises to take home.
Rebecca also does really helpful video sessions, especially focused on rehab exercises (introducing new ones, checking the form of old ones, etc).
She is also thoroughly lovely as well 🙂
Her examination on my first visit was very thorough. She was very attentive and detailed in collecting my medical history.
Following just a few sessions, I found significant improvements in mobility and alleviation of pain.
I don't think you'd find a better physio anywhere and highly recommend Rebecca.
Kurt is the best sports therapist I have come across in London - someone who truly loves their job and can actually make you injury-free.
Don't wait until you're hurt or have an injury. You could avoid it with One Body LDN!
Physio isn't just about recovering from pain, but about improving overall physical health and strength, and this is a must for anyone that takes part in any kind of physical activity. I have been coming here for almost a year now, and whilst I have had sessions to recover from injuries, you can also benefit from so much more.
They will be able to provide physio, osteopathy, a general body MOT, PT services, acupuncture, health and exercise advice and knowledge... it's fairly limitless.
In my time with these guys I haven't just repaired from injury, I've learned beyond expectations about better form, techniques, nutrition, improved lifting... It's just a shame I had to get an injury to find them!
Don't delay. Book a session. Go in for a diagnosis. They will know more than you about what's going on with your body. See what they say and advise. You'll be amazed what you learn and how much better off you'll be for it.

Appendix: Key Terms and Concepts for IT Band Syndrome
IT Band Syndrome: A common injury to the knee, generally associated with running, cycling, hiking or weight-lifting. It occurs when the iliotibial band, the ligament that runs down the outside of the thigh from the hip to the shin, is tight or inflamed.
Reducing Friction: One of the main goals of treating IT band syndrome is to reduce the friction between the IT band and the knee joint, which can help alleviate pain and prevent further injury.
Hip Discomfort: IT band syndrome can cause discomfort in the hip, as the IT band extends from the hip to the shinbone. This discomfort can be a symptom of IT band syndrome or a contributing factor to its development.
Connective Tissue: The tissues that support, bind, or separate more specialized tissues and organs of the body. In the context of IT band syndrome, this can include the hamstrings and other muscles and ligaments in the thigh and knee.
Thigh and Knee Joint: The IT band runs along the outside of the thigh and knee joint, and inflammation or tightness in the IT band can cause pain in these areas.
Substitute: In the context of IT band syndrome, this could refer to alternative exercises or activities that can be done to maintain fitness while avoiding activities that exacerbate IT band syndrome.
Ultrasound: A diagnostic imaging technique used to visualize muscles, tendons, and many internal organs, to capture their size, structure, and any pathological lesions. It can be used to diagnose IT band syndrome or to guide treatment.
Iliotibial Tract: Another name for the iliotibial band, a ligament that runs down the outside of the thigh from the hip to the shin.
Thighbone: Also known as the femur, it’s the bone located in your thigh. The IT band runs along the outside of the thighbone.
Ligament: A short band of tough, flexible, fibrous connective tissue that connects two bones or cartilages or holds together a joint. The IT band is a type of ligament.
Bursitis: Inflammation of a bursa, a small fluid-filled sac that reduces friction between tissues of the body. Bursitis in the hip or knee can contribute to IT band syndrome.
Appendix: Concepts for IT band syndrome
Iliotibial band syndrome, also known as IT band syndrome, is a common overuse injury that affects the IIliotibial band syndrome – a thick band of connective tissue that runs along the outside of the thigh from the hip to the knee. This condition typically occurs in athletes who engage in repetitive activities that involve bending and straightening the knee, such as running or cycling. The friction between the IIliotibial band syndrome and the underlying structures can cause inflammation and pain. Symptoms of IIliotibial band syndrome may include pain on the outside of the knee or hip, swelling, and a snapping or clicking sensation during movement. Treatment options for IT band syndrome may include rest, physiotherapy, stretching exercises, and in some cases, surgery. It is important to seek medical attention if you suspect you have IT band syndrome in order to receive an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.
IT Band Syndrome is a common overuse injury that causes pain on the outer side of the knee. It occurs when the iliotibial band, a thick band of tissue that runs along the outside of the thigh, becomes tight or inflamed. This can result in pain and discomfort during activities such as running or cycling.
To prevent IT Band Syndrome, it’s important to incorporate proper warm-up and cool-down routines into your exercise regimen. Strengthening the hip muscles, maintaining a healthy weight, and gradually increasing intensity and duration of physical activities can also help prevent IT Band Syndrome.
